Note : Formatting the Verbatim Hard Drive erases all the information stored on the drive.
Please backup needed files first.
NTFS or ExFat Format is required, if you use files larger than 3,9GB.
- Connect the drive to a Windows 10/11 computer
- Right click on Windows Start icon
- Select Windows Disk Management

- On the lower right pane locate the Verbatim drive and right-click on it

- Select Format

- Select NTFS if you want to use it with Windows computers
- Select ExFat if you want to use it with Mac and Windows computers
- Type in a Volume label
- Click OK


- Click OK to start formatting


- Formatting is finished and drive shows up as D: drive in Windows File Explorer
