- Right click on Windows Start icon
- Open Disk Management
- On the lower right pane locate your Verbatim drive
- Right click in it an select Delete Volume
- Confirm with selecting Yes
- Now it shows up as Unallocated
- Right click on Unallocated
- Select New Simple Volume
- Select Next in the New Simple Volume Wizard.
- Specify in the size you want to have for the first partition, which should be smaller than the total size
- Select the Drive Letter and click on Next
- Select the File System. NTFS for Windows. ExFat for Windows and Mac
- Type in a Volume label
- Select Finish
- First partition has been created.
- Right click on Unallocated to create another partition
- Follow the steps same as above in the New Simple Volume Wizard
- The second partition has been created
The data will be erased. We recommend backing up your data first.

- Press the windows and r key at the same time
- diskpart (type in and press Enter)
- list disk (type in and press Enter)
- Locate the number of your Verbatim USB Drive
- select disk x (type in and press Enter)
- clean (type in and press Enter)
- convert MBR (type in and press Enter)
- create partition primary (type in and press Enter)
- format quick fs=ntfs (type in and press Enter)
- assign (type in and press Enter)
No, all of our USB2.0/USB3.0/USB3.2 Gen1 USB Drives are plug and play on Windows and MAC OSX. Additional drivers are not required. Product can be unformatted, not mounted or faulty. Please contact our support via our contact form for additional assistance.
You can try to remove read only attributes with the steps below.
We recommend backing up your files first.
Now, please check if you can write data on the Verbatim USB Drive.
Plug the drive into a different system and try to write data on it there.
If you continue to receive a write protected error, you may consider reformatting the drive with Windows Disk Management or Diskpart.

Wij garanderen dat dit product vrij is van materiaal- en fabricagefouten. Als het defect blijkt te zijn, wordt het gratis vervangen. Retourneer het product met het originele aankoopbewijs naar de plaats van aankoop of neem direct contact met ons op.
Dekt fabricagefouten gedurende 2 jaar vanaf de datum van oorspronkelijke aankoop (exclusief batterijen). Als een defect wordt bevestigd, wordt het product kosteloos vervangen.
Dekt interne SSD's die zijn aangeschaft vanaf 27-11-2024. Indien het product binnen 3 jaar defect raakt, vervangen wij het gratis.

Deze garantie geldt niet voor normale slijtage, schade door ongelukken, verkeerd gebruik, verwaarlozing of incompatibiliteit met je computersysteem.
Verbatim is niet verantwoordelijk voor gegevensverlies of indirecte schade.

Controleer je accessoires
Vergewis je ervan dat je de originele voedingsadapter, kabels of andere accessoires gebruikt die bij het product zijn geleverd.
Neem contact op met ons supportteam
Neem contact op via e-mail of telefoon. Ons team zal je helpen een diagnose te stellen.
Vraag een RMA-nummer aan
Als het product defect blijkt te zijn, ontvang je een RMA-nummer (Return Material Authorisation) om het product terug te sturen.
Pak het product goed in
Gebruik de originele verpakking als die beschikbaar is
Verkijk het RMA-nummer duidelijk op de buitenkant
Neem eventuele originele accessoires mee (kabels, voedingsadapter, enz.)
Wanneer we je retourzending hebben ontvangen, repareren of vervangen we het product zo snel mogelijk.
