Panoramica
The Verbatim Store 'n' Save USB 3.0 desktop hard drive features high performance storage using a USB 3.0 “SuperSpeed” interface. USB 3.0 offers up to 10 times faster data transfer rates than USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed) providing ultra fast data transfer on the go.
Store 'n' Save can be placed flat or on its side to help create more space on your desktop. When you switch on Store 'n' Save the Verbatim Welcome screen will appear * giving shortcuts to the software, user manuals, support information and the directory of your drive (* dependent on PC OS running)
USB 3.0 is 100% compatible with USB 2.0
Gli HDD con capacità fino a 2TB sono formattati in FAT32 consentendo loro di operare subito su Windows e Mac OSx. I drive superiori a 2TB sono formattati in NTFS, un formato compatibile per i sistemi Windows ma che richiede agli utenti Mac di riformattare il drive in HFS+ al fine di renderli pienamente compatibili con i sistemi operativi Mac OSx. La formattazione HFS+ può essere applicata utilizzando Verbatim VHD Formatter presente nel drive.
L’unità è già caricata con il software Nero Backup* che ti aiuta a pianificare, comprimere e cifrare il tuo backup, in modo da non perdere mai i file importanti.
I dischi rigidi Verbatim sono inoltre dotati del software Green Button che consente di risparmiare energia. Il software Green Button sospende la rotazione del disco rigido quando non viene utilizzato, aumentando così la produttività e il risparmio energetico.
Sono presenti tre opzioni di sospensione. È possibile impostare la modalità di sospensione dopo 10 minuti di non utilizzo, oppure aumentarla di intervalli di 10 minuti fino a un massimo di 120 minuti. È possibile attivare la modalità di sospensione del disco immediatamente facendo doppio clic sull'icona Green Button presente sul desktop, oppure è possibile configurare il disco in modo che attivi mai la modalità di sospensione.
