Verbatim introduces NVMe PCIe and SATA3 M.2 SSDs for high-speed upgrades

Verbatim is launching a range of M.2 2280 internal SSDs, delivering high speeds and low power consumption for desktop, Ultrabook^TM and notebook client upgrades.  

Utilizing 3D NAND technology combined with the latest generation of controller, Verbatim M.2 SSDs provide the perfect way to improve the response times of your system – offering faster start up, shut down and loading times to smooth multi-tasking.

Vi3000 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD

The NVMe interface has been designed specifically for SSD technology to get the maximum performance by reducing bottlenecks and latency times.  Verbatim’s Vi3000 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs takes full advantage of this, producing super-fast read / write speeds of up to 3,100 / 2,900MB/s* respectively, which is 50 times faster than a regular hard drive.

Vi560 S3 M.2 SSD

For those without the NVMe PCIe interface, Verbatim’s Vi560 S3 M.2 SSD can really breathe new life into an older system by upgrading a tired mechanical hard drive or a legacy 2D NAND SSD.  With read / write speeds of up to 560MB/s / 520MB/s* (which is 10 times faster than a hard drive), they can truly transform the performance and productivity levels of any hard drive-based PC or laptop computer.
